1. What is the Canara TruEdge Account?
Canara TruEdge is a specialised Savings and Current Account designed for institutions like trusts, societies, LLPs, companies, clubs, and educational bodies. It offers tier-based benefits based on Monthly Average Balance (MAB).
2. Who can open a Canara TruEdge Account?
Any registered non-individual entity such as proprietorship, partnership firm, LLP, company, society, trust, club, association, or government/semi-government body can open this account.
3. Is there an initial deposit required?
No. TruEdge requires zero initial deposit at the time of opening.

5. How does the tier system work?
Your Monthly Average Balance (MAB) determines your tier. Higher tiers unlock additional benefits like more POS devices, QR soundboxes, cash handling waivers, and RM support.
6. Do institutions get free POS machines?
Yes. Depending on the tier, institutions can receive up to 3 free POS devices.
7. Are digital transactions unlimited?
Yes. Unlimited NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, and UPI transactions are available. (UPI unlimited for proprietorship accounts only.)
8. Does TruEdge offer cash handling waivers?
Yes. Cash handling waivers are based on the previous month’s MAB. Higher tiers receive higher limits.
9. Does TruEdge support ERP and API banking?
Yes. TruEdge supports ERP solutions, API banking, Payment Gateway, BBPS, and Easy Fee platform.
10. What documents are required?
