Online Banking Channels/Account Blocking

  • Customer can block Online banking channels and Account by sending email to “blockchannels@canarabank.com” with subject line in the below format from his/her registered e-mail id
Email Subject Purpose
LOCKIBU <Space> <Internet Banking Userid>

For Eg. If your user id is 123456, then email subject will be LOCKIBU 123456
To Block Internet Banking
BLOCKMB <Space> <Mobile Number prefixed with Country Code>
For Eg. If your Mobile Number is 91(Country Code)1234567891, then email subject will be BLOCKMB 911234567891
To Block Mobile Banking
BLOCKUPI <Space> <Mobile Number prefixed with Country Code>
For Eg. If your Mobile Number is 91(Country Code)1234567891, then email subject will be BLOCKUPI 911234567891
To Block UPI
BLOCKACC <Space> <Mobile Number prefixed with Country Code>

For Eg. If your Mobile Number is 91(Country Code)1234567891, then email subject will be BLOCKACC 911234567891
To Block Accounts
BLOCKCC <Space> <Last 6 digits of credit card>
For Eg. If last 6 digits of credit card is 123456, then email subject will be BLOCKCC 123456
To Block Credit Card

  • Alternatively, please block the channel by calling our 24*7 Toll free number: 1800 1030.

Note: You can block your Debit Card / Credit Card using Canara Bank Mobile Banking / Canara Bank Internet Banking.

Note: Kindly visit the home branch for unblocking the accounts after blocking through email.
